What are the worship services like?
Our 10am service aims to glorify Jesus Christ, offering a blend of traditional and modern music, times of prayer, Scripture reading, and a message from one of our pastors. Our service last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, though many come a little early to have a doughnut and a cup of coffee. It's a great time for community. There is also full programming available for children during the service!
What should I expect if I'm visiting for the first time?
If you are visiting, we don't expect you to give a dime when we pass the offering plate. We won't make you wear a visitor badge nor stand up so that everyone can see you. Wear whatever you're comfortable in, our pastors are pretty casual and wears jeans most Sundays. You will have an opportunity to fill out a guest information card, but it is 100% optional. At the end of the service, we would love to give you a gift at The Hub. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask our greeters. We hope your first experience at Three Rivers is enjoyable and encouraging.
What about my kids?
Three Rivers is a safe place for kids to learn about God with age appropriate activities, screened volunteers, and a Child Check-In System that ensures your children's safety before, during, and after service by preventing unauthorized entry into the Kids-only zone. We will be happy to assist you in getting your children to the appropriate classes!
Our newly renovated nursery is staffed with loving and experienced volunteers who would love to take care of your little ones while you join us in the service. We also recently added a walk-in nursery at the back of the sanctuary that has space for nursing mothers, toys and games for toddlers and infants, as well as a changing table.
Three Rivers also has a children's ministry wing for kids age three through fifth grade. There is an entrance to the children's wing right off of the sanctuary when you come in the main doors. Our volunteers will help you find your way to getting your children checked into the secure area. 3RKids meets during the 10am service.
On Sunday's our teens participate in services. We strive to make sure the services are engaging to teens as well as adults. After all, if teens are bored in church, chances are adults will be too!
